Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data I process in connection with the kuczynski.eu website, for what purpose and on what basis, and what rights you have.
Data controller
The controller of personal data is Kancelaria Adwokacka Marcin Kuczyński (the law firm of attorney Marcin Kuczyński), ul. Nowy Świat 53, 00-042 Warsaw, Poland, e-mail: [email protected].
What data I process and why
Contact form. If you complete the form, I process your name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number, the selected matter area and the content of your message. Purpose: replying to your enquiry. The basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing data in the form is voluntary, but necessary for me to reply.
Form protection. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It processes technical data about your device and browser to tell humans from bots. The basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the site against abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visit statistics. I use Google Analytics 4 only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). It sets _ga cookies and measures traffic. I do not use it for advertising or profiling. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not store users' IP addresses. You can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the site footer.
Server logs and hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. The provider may record technical connection data, such as the IP address and request time, to keep the site secure and working (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
Recipients of data
Data may be entrusted to hosting and IT tool providers, in particular Cloudflare and Google, and to providers of correspondence tools. Data may be disclosed to bodies entitled to receive it under law.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Notifications of messages sent through the contact form, including the data provided in it and the content of the message, reach the law firm via the Telegram messenger. Its provider is based outside the European Economic Area, which means that data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Retention
I keep correspondence until the matter is closed and then for the period in which claims related to it may be pursued. Analytics data is kept in line with Google Analytics 4 settings, that is for 14 months. Technical logs are kept for as long as needed to ensure security.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and data portability. You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
For data matters, please write to [email protected].
Cookies
The site uses files necessary for it to work and, only with your consent, Google Analytics cookies (_ga). I store your choice in your browser for 365 days. You can change your decision at any time through “Cookie settings” in the site footer. If you decline, _ga cookies are removed.
Attorney-client privilege
Information provided in connection with legal assistance is covered by attorney-client privilege.
